SRHA Board of Directors is calling a Special Meeting to present proposals for improvements to the swim and tennis facilities, as well as for the Community as a whole.
Time: 7:00pm on Thursday 09/29, at the Facility Pavilion.
Place: Facility Pavilion and a Zoom link is provided below for anyone who is unable to participate in person. Audio interactions may be limited for zoom participants.
Purpose: The Bylaws of Steeplechase Resident Homeowners’ Association, Inc. require under Section 25 Spending that the Board receive approval by a majority of members of the Association in attendance and voting at a meeting for expenditures that would exceed the total operating budget by more than 10% or $5000.
As we look toward our 40th anniversary in 2024, the Board of Directors has prioritized several projects that, if executed, would lead to the 2022 budget exceeding its budgeted amount and require utilizing SRHA reserve funds. It is important to approve these expenditures at this time so that they may be completed prior to Spring 2023.
The projects we hope to undertake this fall include:
o Bathroom remodeling – projected cost: $15,000 budget
o Court 3 resurface – projected cost: $6000
o Court 4 remodeled to pickle ball court – projected cost: $9200
o Windscreens for Court 3 – projected cost: $1,500
o Convert volleyball court into multi-use area – projected costs $3000
We also have a significant project to consider for the Spring:
o Dean Road wall repairs – projected cost: TBD (no vote at this time)
Your Board is confident that these improvements are an instrumental element of the ‘facelift’ our neighborhood needs to thrive in the decade and a critical element of our vision for the restoration of our amenities over the next several years.
Please come out and join us as we plan for the future.
