Steeple Station Stingrays - Summer Swim Team 2008
Registration is closed: We have 160 swimmers and welcome each one! We want to be sure each has several event slots for each swim meet so we capped our numbers for this year. Try us next year - we register in mid-March.
Team History - Steeple Station Swim Team began in 1989 and is a partnership
between Steeplechase pool and Jefferson Station pool. Head Coach Kent Julian
from the early 90's returned to live in Steeplechase with his family and 3 swimmers
of his own. We were very excited to have him back on staff again for 2007 and

Assistant Coach Audrey Blackmon returns for her 4th year coaching! She was an
enthusiastic Stingray swimmer from age 6 to 18, and is now a student at Auburn
University.
Junior Coaches are Brittany Carmack and Kevin Baker. Additional teen captains
are assigned by age groups.

Team Practice - Mid-May after school at Steeplechase pool.
Summer Practice is in the morning and rotates between the Steeplechase and Jefferson
Station pools. Your child will have a practice slot with his/her age group,
combining both boys and girls. At swim meets, boys compete with boys, girls
compete with girls by age groups.

· 10:30 - 11:00 AM – 6 & under (Steeple Chase: Mon-Wed / Jefferson
